Professor Jost Comments on King v Burwell and the Affordable Care Act

Timothy S. Jost, Robert L. Willett Family Professor of Law at Washington and Lee University, a featured speaker on the Affordable Care Act at the SHECP symposium on August 5, 2014, wrote an analysis and commentary about the implications of King v. Burwell on June 25th, 2015, the day it was handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court. Use the following links to Health Affairs and to the Commonwealth Fund for Professor Jost’s comments on both Chief Justice John Roberts’s opinion for the six-Justice majority and Justice Antonin Scalia’s dissent representing the three Justices who supported the plaintiffs’ case.
