Hamilton College is a private, nonsectarian liberal arts college in Clinton, New York. Founded as an academy in 1793, it was chartered as Hamilton College in 1812 in honor of inaugural trustee Alexander Hamilton.

Hamilton’s participation in SHECP is administered by the Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center, which supports initiatives and provides resources that enable students and faculty to engage in public service and public policy through research, community-based learning, lectures, discussion, and practice.
