Programs

SHECP provides unique programming through direct educational opportunities such as the Summer Internship Program, networking and collaboration opportunities for students, alumni, faculty, and staff, and a range of events featuring professionals and experts from within and outside the Consortium. Programming is developed collaboratively with Member Schools to explore current topics or issues.

SHECP programming is designed to provide opportunities for student learning and reflection, to cultivate best practices and research within the Consortium, and to create forums for sharing those insights and knowledge with the larger community. By maintaining a diverse community of current students, alumni, faculty and staff, and community partners, SHECP is able to utilize each stakeholder’s unique talents, networks, and insights to find creative ways to understand and address the causes and consequences of poverty.
