We are very excited to announce a new Alumni-led initiative, SHECP’s Alumni Spotlights.
Through recorded conversations, Alumni will be invited to share their experiences participating in SHECP and describe how their internships informed their academic, professional and civic trajectories.
In the first episode, Alums Allison Fantz (’17) and Elizabeth Lee (’15) had an animated conversation about Elizabeth’s career path since she interned with the SHECP program.
Elizabeth is the founder of Gift Good Co., a platform that connects people and organizations with remarkable gifts and gift cards from small-to-medium sized businesses owned by people of color. She considers her time with SHECP a pivotal moment in her career because it provided first-hand experience working with communities that faced poverty and a variety of other disadvantages.
