Neglected Tropical Diseases in the United States

The following paper by Lee Haruno, a Poverty Studies minor from the University of Notre Dame, focuses on epidemiology and the science of tropical diseases that are largely neglected in the United States. Lee relates the neglect of these diseases to poverty and offers recommendations for integrated health solutions. Lee wrote the paper as part of his capstone for the spring of 2013.
