Pedagogy & Practice – Thriving in Common Good Vocations
Thursday, June 4th at 3 PM ET
While much of SHECP’s focus is on the undergraduate experience, this work does not end with an internship, a capstone project or even with graduation. If we aim to send students out into every possible vocation and encourage them to explore a lifetime of change-making and pursuit of the civic good, we must also consider what they will need to sustain their efforts long-term and how we can use our time with them to prepare them to thrive.
Join us for a community conversation about “What tools, skills, mindsets, and understandings do students need to adapt to and thrive in vocations in the Common Good?” This session will be discussion-based rather than a formal presentation of material. Register here!
Who Should Attend: This Academy event is open to the public. We strongly encourage students, educators, alumni, and practitioners to join us for this valuable discussion.
This event is part of a year-long focus on the same topic and has been made possible with the generous support of the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education. Click here to learn more about this work>>
